Our Inspiration
Meet Eric Simons, the man who inspired the Champions of Courage program with his courageous climb up Mount Aconcagua! Eric is now Board Chairman of the Betaseron® Multiple Sclerosis Champions of Courage and is still conquering mountains!
In May 2002 he attempted Denali (Mt. McKinley) with an eight-member expedition team — seven of whom also have MS. Extreme winds and unusual weather conditions contributed to the decision not to attempt the summit.
