Ramon Sepulveda

Ramon Sepulveda is a man who likes to push himself. His latest goal? To run 12 marathons in 12 months, officially beginning September of 2004.
Part of his training regimen included running three back-to-back marathons to test his body's ability to endure the intensity of the monthly schedule. He completed the first two, and the third took place on March 13, 2004 in Abilene, TX.
April 2005 Update: Ramon was the man of the hour when he did a satellite media tour just four days before running the Boston Marathon on April 18. Ramon was interviewed by more than 20 TV stations about his marathon running and how he copes with MS. Then it was off to Boston, where he completed the marathon in 5 hours, 25 minutes. Ramon says, "I am no longer trying to run marathons -- I AM a marathoner!" Boston was his 10th marathon, and his sixth out of the 12 he intends to do in 12 months. So it's six down, six to go!
