Lorie McCrone used her grant to compete in the Dalmation Club of America's “Road Trial" in June 2000. She and her dogs took 2nd and 3rd place!
Update: Lorie competed in the very first ever Canadian Dalmatian Club Road Trial event on July 3, 2003. She was one of only 10 teams in the competition!! This is the same event that she did for her Champions of Courage grant in 2000, except that it takes place near Toronto in Canada. She again had 2 Dalmatians entered -- her 11-year-old dog Danny and her newest dog Kellie, who is 2. She trained all spring for the competition and spent almost every day at the horse stable. Go Lorie!
